That said, it's a nice restaurant and I would go back. I ordered a 2nd glass of wine middle of the meal and didn't get it (and didn't even see anyone to ask about it) until the meal was over. They were super slow and didn't even realize we had arrived and were waiting for service for about 15 minutes. We loved it and would highly recommend it! We had dinner at the Grove Steakhouse and the food was amazing. The decor was modern in plums and natural woods. There is a cool fireplace between the dining room and living room and TVs everywhere (including the bathroom). The room was incredible! Top floor (with a view of the hills and pool) and huge! There were 2 bathrooms, a jacuzzi tub, 2 head shower, large dining room and small kitchen with drinks. While I was waiting in the lobby for my husband to get the bags, a different person working there went and got me some water. However, Valerie at the front desk (who was amazingly patient and courteous) helped us pay for an upgrade to a Presidential Suite. When we went to check-in around 12:30, our room wasn't ready. The outlets are nice and you feel like you're on vacation in New Mexico or something. We arrived at Viejas early so went bowling and shopped across the street. The hotel is definitely a 5, but the casino pulls it down. I waffled back and forth between 4 and 5 stars.
